DIS-SOS is a big platform with hundreds of articles about cPTSD, OSDD/DID and trauma treatment. The table of contents can feel overwhelming for new readers. That is why we sort topics by phases of treatment. Beginners will find the most useful information on symptom management in the ‘Stabilization’ section where we collect Basics.
There is the diverse ‘Middle’ of treatment that, strictly speaking, still belongs into the Stabilization phase but we are a lot more stable already and start working towards new goals. This ‘Middle’ section contains information that you might need for regular life and to improve in areas where you already have some foundations.
We currently sum up Trauma Processing and Integration as the ‘End Game’, with tools you will need when your therapy is more advanced.
The very last section contains information for helpers, short form texts with personal epiphanies and random things that fit nowhere else.
ALL articles are helpful for DID treatment. We mark the ones that are ONLY helpful for DID and not for cPTSD in green.
